About

Robert Singer (b. 1964, Omaha, Nebraska) is a neurosurgeon, artist, and designer based in Southampton, NY. He studied history and studio art at the University of Iowa, earned a Master’s in Modern Art History, Theory, and Criticism from Azusa Pacific University, and completed advanced medical training at Vanderbilt, Stanford, and Harvard. He specializes in neurovascular and neuro-oncological surgery and also holds a Master of Healthcare Delivery Science from Dartmouth College.

His artwork is featured in permanent collections including Arya (Atlanta, GA), the Norton Neuroscience Center (Louisville, KY), and Neurosurgery of South Kansas City (Overland Park, KS). He has exhibited at The Hopkins Center at Dartmouth College and La La Land Gallery in Los Angeles, and remains active in the Hamptons art community.

Since 2002, Singer has also served as President and Director of Design for Waterstone Guitar Company, creating unique custom instruments, pickups, and effects.
